Mining Claims For Sale.

   

 

    I have had many calls from people looking for mining claims. I have 5 claims as to date and have another 7 on a 90 day notice. Most of these claims are just outside of Jamestown. They are not the easiest claims to get to. 5 of them are a few mile hike down a horse trail or just a few minutes by boat. The claims are located on an old river run off channel. I have mined these areas for a few years and they would be great for dredging if we ever got it back. I have found anywhere from 1 gram to 3 dwt per day with a highbanker.

 

    Another group of claims I have been looking at are near Downiville. They are located on an old dry river channel and water is seasonal. These diggings are part of the La Porte, Brady City, Joubert diggings and Malakof diggins channels. These will be 20 acre claims.

 

If you are interested in your own claim I will be offering these claims in the range of $1,200.00-$3,500.00 depending on the gold sample contens. I will be digging these sites to sample the avg per yard of material. I typicaly just dig for myself and if I see gold then I am happy but need to assess these claims so you can have an informed analysis. If you are looking for information on filing a claim I offer a class for $250.00. There is lots of information to learn. Anything other than casual mining does involve a letter of intent and typicaly a reclamation bond. The wording of your plan of operation is key to being able to small scale mine with motorized equipment. The Forestry Service requires a letter of intent and a plan of operation for small scale mining with motorized equipment such as a trommel, wash plant, etc. As of 2009, California water quality board has stated that we as miners need to pay them $1,200.00 for use of a highbanker. To date I know of no one that has paid this and I will not be paying them but this may be an issue when mining on your claim or any other. Not knowing the laws and rule may be more costly in some cases the the actual price of a permit so miners beware.
