If you are already in Gold Country:

Highway 49 South: coming from Sutter Creek (70 minutes), Jackson(60 minutes), San Andreas(40 minutes), Angels Camp (25 minutes), and Murphys (35 minutes) Take 49 South; approximately 9 miles from Angels Camp take a right onto Rawhide Road (there will be a left turning curve in the road & a sign that says Sonora to the left, Jamestown to the right.) Follow Rawhide Road approximately 4 miles to Highway 108.  (You will pass over a small one way bridge and come to a stop light.) Make a right onto Highway 108/49 South (they are combined into one road at this juncture).  You will pass Jamestown on your left. Travel approximately a half a  mile, and make a right onto Harvard Mine Road.  Drive approximately a little over a half a mile down Harvard Mine Road.  There will be a newer house on the right hand side of the road. (The house is not the business.)  We are across the street. You will see quartz boulders on your left.  Turn left into the parking area (not  into the driveway by the house!).  Walk down to the creek. If you happen to miss your right hand turn onto Harvard Mine Road, that is okay.  Harvard Mine Road runs in a loop.  Just drive down another half mile and take a right hand turn onto the next Harvard Mine Road turn off.  The creek will be on the right instead.  If you need help with directions, you can always call us.

If you are in Jamestown:

From Main Street in Jamestown: Turn left onto Highway 108 /49 South (they are the one and the same road), drive approximately one quarter of a mile, make a right onto Harvard Mine Road; Drive approximately a little over a half a mile down Harvard Mine Road.  There will be a newer house on the right hand side of the road. (The house is not the business.)  The creek is on the left hand side of the road.

If you are in Sonora:

Take Highway 108 West / 49 South (they are combined into one road at this juncture). Depending on where you are coming from in Sonora, it may be a 3 to 7 mile drive.  As you are driving,  you will pass Jamestown on your left. Approximately half of a mile past the traffic light (there is only one  in Jamestown), you will make a right onto Harvard Mine Road.  Drive approximately a little over a half a mile down Harvard Mine Road.  There will be a newer house on the right hand side of the road. (The house is not the business.)  We are across the street.
