About Miner John

Miner John is originally from the great state of Maine. Like many miners of the old, he came from the east coast in his pursuit of gold. Having learned his mining techniques from an old timer in Georgia, John has spent his summers teaching gold panning lessons to
the old and young alike.

In the winter season, John hard rock mines and explores many creeks, streams and hillsides with his dog Pele . In the early morning hours, don't be surprised if you hear the distant clang of Miner John's pick hitting the rocks in the hillsides.
